Duke West Union Featured in Architectural Record + Architectural Digest

Excited to see some fantastic press about Grimshaw's Duke West Union! We were so excited to design and fabricate 34 pieces for the project.

In the November 2016 issue of Architectural Record, Beth Broome, the magazine's managing editor, gave the project a glowing writeup.

In the February 2017 issue of Architectural Digest!, the project was was honored as one of the 9 best new university buildings around the world in 2016.

Deconstructed in Fine Woodworking Magazine!

Very honored to have our Cedar Garden Bench featured in Fine Woodworking magazine(June 2016)!  We originally designed and built a series of these outdoor benches in Port Orford Cedar for the Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel, NY.  The design caught the eye of one of the editors at Fine Woodworking and they commissioned us to discuss and demonstrate the construction of the piece.  What a thrill to be seen in such esteemed company…!

NY Times (Pas de Calais)

What we referred to in our Facebook photo album as “The Swiss Cheese Project” was actually display counters for the Soho showroom of French clothing company Pas de Calais. Here they are featured in the Style section of The New York Times. They open to the public tomorrow at 482 Broome Street in NYC. Can’t wait to see our oak counters all dressed up!
