Our precision fabrication studio is dedicated to exploring the expressive qualities of solid wood. We collaborate with our clients on custom projects that connect the thoughtful eye with the skilled hand.

The studio is located in a 3200 sq ft brick building in Newburgh, NY, approximately 1.5 hours north of New York City. In addition to precision solid wood fabrication, we provide consultation, shop drawings, prototyping, coordination with other trades, delivery + installation. We maintain a large inventory of kiln-dried, live edge hardwood flitches. Studio visits are welcome, by appointment.

Owner Jessica Wickham’s evolution as a woodworker began in Japan, where she lived for five years and was deeply inspired by Japanese aesthetics and traditions of fine craft.  In Tokyo she was introduced to Japanese hand planes and edge tools, hand-forged instruments that have been in continuous use for hundreds of years.  Her experience of the convergence of traditional culture and modern design set her off on a path of discovery that brought her back to her home town, New York City and then to the Hudson Valley where she began milling live edge slabs. In 2020, after a productive 11 years in Beacon, NY Jessica moved the studio to Newburgh where work now happily continues.
