WeARTogether

Dear Friends,

Through this period of disorientation, distance, grieving and now anger and protest, one huge source of comfort has been connection with the ones we love. More than ever, we hold tight the things that matter.

At my studio, our work is about love of craft, respect for the integrity of local hardwoods, and passion for producing high quality, enduring custom objects. Collaboration is at the center of what we do.

Recently, Dan Weise and Kalene Rivers in Beacon came up with a terrific way for people to show support for artists and small businesses together in a community - a project called WearTogether.  A graphic artist and a business team up to design a t-shirt and then offer it for sale to supporters for a period of two weeks.  Proceeds are split between the artist, the business and The Brooklyn Press, a screen printer in Newburgh, NY.

Check out the t-shirt that Randall Martin designed!  The shirt will be on sale only until June 15th and will be mailed out during the week of June 22.  It would be a thrill to see you wearing it!

With care,

Jessica
